Taking Shape: Renovation Update

Cherry Orchard Vets is beginning to take shape.

The new double glazed windows look great (even better when we can take their protective-tape off), very in-keeping with the original sash windows but much warmer for everyone.

I am delighted with the new grey tiled roof over the reception area. The entire roof looks so much smarter being just one colour, rather than the mismatched tiles that were there previously. The enlarged open porch, with a new wide, glazed front door, will welcome everyone into our large bright reception area. Once the drainage work is completed (bane of my life) the building will get a fresh coat of paint and look fantastic.

Inside it's been non-stop plastering. The building is still very much an empty shell/building-site, but the rooms are there and the painters will be in next week. The new flooring will be laid shortly after that, followed by storage units and sinks.

Our builders are amazing, I'm so grateful for all their hard work.

new consultation room with two sloping roof windows and new external door

Theatre currently with a cement mixer rather than operating theatre.

Dog ward in the making, just bare plaster at the moment.

The veterinary equipment is all on order and it won't be long now until we can welcome our first clients.

Don't forget you can pre-register you pets with Cherry Orchard Vets now!
